Hemisphere Video Album release April 28, 2017

Mikel Rouse has released the video album Hemisphere on April 28, 2017, available through all major retail outlets including iTunes, Amazon, Tidal and Bandcamp.
To celebrate the release, Rouse performed a Retrospective Concert at National Sawdust on April 29, 2017.

Hemisphere follows the success of Rouse’s Metronome – Take Down album, hailed as ‘the reemergence of a downtown legend’ by Pitchfork. Pitchfork described the lead track Habibi Lossless as: ‘Over 10 minutes, the teasing structure delivers moments of exultation amid an overall sense of unease. Slippery like Radiohead’s “Daydreaming”—and as chaotically clattering as work by Oneohtrix Point Never—it reestablishes Rouse’s brilliance.

Rouse’s performance at National Sawdust was a retrospective concert featuring guitarist extraordinaire Jeff McErlain (www.jeffmcerlain.com). The intimate concert setting featured songs from Rouse’s 40 year catalog including Tirez Tirez and feature a modern ‘media/story telling’ platform.

You can find the video album of Hemisphere on the Media page. Downloads of the audio album available on all digital media platforms.
